The PS3 is your gateway to High Definition (HD) entertainment. Whether watching HD Video or playing games, certain display types are necessary to get the most our of your PS3.

Technically what you should be looking for is a HD display with “1080p” capability. 1080p is shorthand for the resolution of 1920 X 1080, progressive scan. We have found that there are very few of these displays available in South Africa, and are actively looking for them in order to pass them on to our fortunate PS3 customers. You may achieve good results with a 1080i display which has the same resolution, but is interlaced, if the display itself support “upscaling” from interlaced to progressive, but your results may vary.

Our recommendation, when investing in a HD display, is to ensure you get a 1080p resolution display. We hope to have some in our Online Store soon.
