How to set up E-Mail

Microsoft Outlook 2003 - Migration

1. Open Outlook
2. Click on Tools, then E-mail Accounts:
   
   
   
3. Select Select View or change existing e-mail accounts., then click Next:
   
   
   
4. Select you mail account and click Change:
   
   
   
5. Under Logon Information, the User Name must be changed to the format name@yourdomain.co.za. Incoming and Outgoing mail server must be set to: pop.itdirect.co.za  (port: 110 with StartTLS)  and smtp.itdirect.co.za (port: 587 with StartTLS)
   
   
   
6. Click More Settings. Select the Outgoing Server tab. Select  My outgoing server (SMTP) requires authentication, and Use same settings as my incoming mail server:
   
   
   
7. Select the Advanced tab. Ensure all text boxes are not ticked. 
   
   
   
8. Click OK
9. Click Next
10. Click Finish.
